Install your eSIM on Android
Menus differ a little between brands. Connect to Wi-Fi first and keep your QR code or eSIM email to hand.
Install on iPhoneGoogle Pixel
- Open Settings, then Network & internet, then SIMs.
- Tap Add SIM (or +), then Download a SIM instead.
- Scan the QR code and follow the prompts.
Samsung Galaxy
- Open Settings, then Connections, then SIM manager.
- Tap Add eSIM, then Scan QR code from service provider.
- Scan the code and tap Add when asked.
Other Android phones
- Open Settings and search for “eSIM”, or look in Mobile network or SIM settings.
- Choose the option to add or download an eSIM, then scan the QR code.
- If there's no camera option, choose to enter the code manually and paste the full activation code (it starts with LPA:1$).
When you land
- Open your SIM settings and make the travel eSIM your mobile data SIM.
- Turn on Roaming for the travel eSIM.
- Turn off roaming on your usual SIM to avoid charges from your home network.
